Coldplay on vinyl?

I was searching through my vinyl record collection the other day looking for a Coldplay album that I knew I owned.  It wasn’t until I got halfway through my roughly 500 albums that I realized two things:  first, I need to alphabetize them so when I get a hankering to listen to something I can find it, and second, my Coldplay music is on CD not vinyl!  I don’t even know if they have anything on vinyl but I sure don’t have it if they do.

That experience got me thinking that it might be nice to go through the collection and find the albums that I really liked a couple of decades ago and see if they still appeal to me.  There is a long list of albums that immediately come to mind as ones that I’m looking forward to reliving!

Do any of these ring a bell?

My receiver does not have a phono input so I had to pick up a new turntable that has it’s own built in pre-amp.  Costco had one for a good price so I picked it up and plugged it in.  Works well enough so over the next few months I’ll be going through my album collection and periodically blogging about my impressions of the “classic” albums from all those years ago…Any other suggestions?
